Britain Express copyright information

Written material on Britain Express falls into two categories: all written material - unless otherwise noted - is copyright by David Ross and Britain Express. If you are citing material on the site, note that there is no sponsoring institution.

All articles that have an author noted remain the copyright of that author and Britain Express has been granted one-time publishing rights only.

Some students researching articles in our History section have asked about the credentials of David Ross for citing purposes. Credentials include:

BA (Hon) in English History (Memorial University, 1979)
Author of "The Essential Traveler's Companion to Medieval England" (1066 Publishing, 1996)

Students doing research papers and school assignments may re-produce short excerpts of written material that do not have an author noted, as long as you include proper attribution (i.e. copyright David Ross and Britain Express, http://www.britainexpress.com ).

For any other use, please contact us here.

Some students may need to know the date an article was last updated for citation purposes. If there is not a date at the bottom of the article, here's a quick way to find out the information: just click the RIGHT mouse button and you should see a menu item called 'Properties'. Click that, and you will see the date the file was last modified. This works in Internet Explorer; other browsers may have slightly different names for the commands but the concept is the same.
