Being out in the country side was my favourite part of all. The beds were cosy and it was a roomy cottage with a garden and parking. If I ever get back to England I would definitely want to go back to the Swallow Cottage.

I had a lovely stay at Swallow Cottage. It was quiet, peaceful & exactly right for my needs. The cottage was clean & very comfortable. I would recommend this cottage wholeheartedly.

A fantastic little cottage! A great base to explore Hampshire.

We recently stayed at Swallow Cottage as it was a convenient base to visit nearby family and friends. We found the cottage clean and comfortable with pretty much everything we needed for basic holiday accommodation. The owners thoughtfully welcomed us with a pint of milk in the fridge and a delicious home-made lemon drizzle cake. The main room, while not luxurious, was comfortable with the added bonus of a wood-burning stove (although if you haven't had experience with one of these beasts before you may want to get some tips as to how to tame it before you get there!). The kitchen provided everything needed to prepare simple meals. The bedroom was spacious and the bed really comfortable. The shower room was clean and compact (although I have to say that I found the loo seat really uncomfortable!). One tip I would give to all hair-dryer users is to bring an extension cable with you as there are no power points in the vicinity of any of the mirrors. I used mine by plugging an extension lead into the socket in the hall near the bedroom door. For those who like to have Wi-Fi the cottage is equipped with its own router and secure network. It does have a habit of stopping working at times. although most of the time its fine. (Even my husband who runs a computer repair and support business couldn't beat it into submission, but it would sort itself out after a while.) The cottage is in a very quiet setting and we had no problems with sleeping at night. Shopping is conveniently located a couple of miles away with a large Sainsburys and Marks and Spencers. There are plenty of eating places around, our favourite being The Fishers Pond between Fair Oak and Colden Common, about 10 minutes drive from the cottage. We would certainly be happy to return to Swallow Cottage and are more than likely to do so next year.

We had an absolutely brilliant stay in the cottage, coupled with some horse-riding at the associated Quob stables. Really could not have been better. The kids (& me) absolutely LOVED the wood burner, it gave such a cosy warm feel to the cottage. Thank you for a fabulous stay!
