Relaxed and comfortable. At the start of the Long Mynd this cottage is in a quiet village near Church Streeton.

pet frendly great walks Lovely barn had every we needed for a weeks stay. Great pubs down the road which meant we did not have to cook much. Could walk straight out of the barn onto the Mynd which has stunning views.
There are very friendly wild horses on the top of the Mynd one of which even put his head into my car window on one occasion! whclark1982 2017-09-05
Amazing and breath taking I can truly say this holiday was amazing. Willow barn was so clean and had everything we needed with lots of little extras to.with its log burning fire and lovely large rooms with exposed beams it didn't feel like a barn. It felt like a cottage.the welcome pack was such personal touch.books placed on the beds for my boys to enjoy.a bottle of wine for me. The owner was so warm and helpful. She told us all about the local area, events and gave us maps and leaflets.her warm natural nature made us feel so relaxed and happy?.we had lovely big garden to play in.very dog friendly and children friendly. I didn't want to come home.i have already recommend it to friends and family.there are lots of walks with breath taking views.the pubs are dog friendly but the owner of the barn was happy for you to leave the dogs in the barn if you wanted to go out without them.everyone in the surrounding villages were friendly, proudly telling you stories and history about their home.we met so many nice people.i couldn't ask for more.

Complete tranquility in fantastic location My girlfriend booked this cottage as a total retreat and escape from the city. It was utterly gorgeous. Lovely garden, spectacular views. I had a dinner outside in the garden and could see the country for miles. A home from home. The barn was very clean and tidy. You could sleep like a top with a babbling brook running quietly outside the window. It was like going back in time with horses and traps trotting by. Cath, the owner, was very helpful and could not help us enough, even inviting us to a village party. Pubs nearby were great. Walking terrific. A real find. peter w 2017-08-14
Awful! We recently had the misfortune to book this cottage. Very poorly maintained and dubious cleanliness.........thick with dog hairs on the living area carpet, dog hairs on the bedding, greasy cupboard doors in the kitchen, everything felt old and tired.
Heating on full on a warm summers evening and unable to turn it off (the owner suggested running the hot water taps!)
We checked out after an hour or so, having explained our disappointment, and are still awaiting the remainder of our refund.
Its a real shame as the location is fabulous and the cottage could be great with a little attention to the fixtures, fittings and cleaning.
This is the first time in nearly 20 years of renting that we have felt the need to post negative comments. hotlanta2017 2017-07-19
