An absolute delight hidden in rural Somerset!
I booked Cider House West for my partners belated 50th Birthday. It is an absolute gem of a find for those wishing to have peaceful tranquility, a warm & cosy dwelling, wonderful walks across fields & fields to come across streams & hamlets! Beautifully decorated by the owners, you keep seeing different things/ornaments/ in the building & that is complimentary of the way its been designed & decorated. Everything is in the house that you need, especially the kitchen, pots/pans, cutlery/crockery, tea, coffee, sugar & items in the cupboards. There's even recycling pots/baskets. Shampoos, conditioners, shower gel, towels....its all there...just take your clothes! It says exactly what it says on the tin & its a wonderful place to stay. Lucinda & Jeremy are wonderfully warm in welcoming you to their little piece of heaven, anything you need they are there for you & more.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cider house. The owners were extremely welcoming and the cottage itself was lovely and peaceful just what we needed with a baby on the way. Will definitely be back for a visit to Somerset in the future. A perfect couples get away.

Cider House West was an amazing place to stay. the property uses very well thought out use of space providing a relaxing comfortable place to rest after exploring the country side and surrounding areas

The location of this cottage is superb - you can walk right from the door across the fields and down to the river, back to the cottage through open fields, enjoying wonderful views and early-morning birdsong. The cottage is small but perfectly arranged, and very comfortable with underfloor heating, a wood burning stove and lots of throws etc. It has an intriguing collection of art on the walls and on the shelves, and the furnishings are to a high standard. The owners are very hospitable, helpful and friendly; and the local pub is great - what more could you want?
