Felt a little neglected
Spacious cottage for 2 ( it does sleep four) with beautiful views from the garden. The main bedroom was very comfortable with a super king size bed. It is located about less than 3 miles from Gifford, with Haddington about another 6 from there. Great walks from the door and further afield including Luffness beach. North Berwick is about 30 minutes drive and is a lovely place to visit too. The cottage was superficially clean however and required a deeper clean. There were cobwebs on the internal windows and sofa/ chairs a bit tired and needed cleaning. Kitchen area also could have been cleaner. The bathroom is challenging if you are tall and my partner (6ft) banged his head daily and we both found the shower poor. The garden also felt neglected. This could be a great place but needs a little TLC.
