Beechgrove Cottage is a wonderful single-storey detached cottage resting in the wooded grounds of Pitmedden Garden in Pitmedden, Aberdeenshire. Hosting two bedrooms, including a double and a twin, along with a bathroom, this property can sleep up to four guests. There is also a kitchen and a living/dining room with an open fire.
Outside there is parking in the Visitor Centre car park and the property has it's own enclosed garden with a picnic bench. Beechgrove Cottage is a charming base for a Scottish break with your loved ones.
RECENT CUSTOMER REVIEWS
Disappointed. Overpriced.
On the last evening of my stay, the battery in the fire alarm squawked very loudly every few minutes. It was impossible to muffle the very loud noise. The property manager was unable to provide a solution to the problem by 10 pm. I packed up & had to find alternative accommodation.
Some of the storage heaters are antiques. The front door is peeling paint. I could not get hot water out of the kitchenette tap. 4 wasps appeared inside the house overnight, even though the windows had never been opened, and the single external door kept closed.
I consider this property overpriced for what it offers. And have concerns for the system of getting support from the owners, the National Trust for Scotland.
VERY DISAPPOINTED.
