There are two Tourist Information Centres in the city of Chester. Both offer facilities
for booking accommodation nationwide, purchasing coach and walking tour tickets,
events details, and the usual postcards, maps, and guidebooks.

GUIDED WALKING TOURS Pastfinder
Tours leave from the Chester Visitor Centre and Town Hall Tourist Information
Centre. Times vary by season, please check with the TICs (see above). Fee charged. Ghosthunter
Trail - a night journey around haunted Chester. Fee charged and advance
booking advised, from one of the two TICs. Roman
Soldier Patrols - a "Roman soldier" in full battle
regalia guides visitors around the Roman fortress of Deva. Leaving from Chester
Visitor Centre and the Tourist Information Centre, Town Hall. OPEN
TOP BUS TOURS Guide Friday run regular guided open top bus tours
of the city centre. Tours last one hour but the ticket is good all day, so you
can hop off and back on again later. Details on the tour at the Guide
