From: £75.00 Awarded English Country Hotel of the Year 2009 by the Good Hotel Guide, Lindeth Fell is only a mile from bustling Bowness up on the hills overlooking Lake Windermere and the Coniston Fells.The setting is a magical one of tranquillity and amazing views over the Thomas Mawson designed seven acres of gardens.The family owned hotel has many accolades including a 3 star Gold award from the Tourist Board, 3 star 83% from the AA, and 1010 for service from the Sunday Times inspector Some of the bedrooms have stunning lake views, every modern amenity and en-suite bathrooms with good power showers. Free Wifi connection is accessible in the majority of the rooms. There are spacious comfortable lounges and a wide terrace on the west side of the house for morning coffee and afternoon cream teas Dinner in one of the three lake view dining rooms is AA rosette standard and the wine list has been carefully chosen.We are out of town so country walks can begin from our door, and it is only a 20 minute walk in to near by Bowness.
