The view of St Peter's from the south side
An attractive small belfry and Sanctus bell stand above the chancel arch. The bell is still in use.
A table tomb stands before the south porch. The porch entry was lowered in the Victorian period to give better views of the superb Norman door.
A 12th century carved head sits upon a window ledge on the south wall. The carving may have been intended as a corbel head.
Wall painting illustrating the Lord's Prayer, dated to 1736.
The font stands in the north aisle. Here you get a nice view of the lovely Gothic columns supporting ther nave.

A medieval squint, is set into the wall beside the chancel arch, allowing views of the altar from the north aisle.
Fragments of 14th century glass can be seen in the window in the east wall of the north aisle.
