Accommodation Description:

Bonningtons B&B is located in a converted barn located immediately behind the main house just 3 miles from the airport (around 10 minutes in the car or taxi) on a typical English village green 'George Green'. Late checkin possible at anytime by prior arrangement. Early breakfast possible at anytime.

All rooms en-suite. Adjacent to a country inne 'the george' for lunchtime and evening meal

The precise age of Bonningtons is not known however first records originate from the early 1600s so it is likely that the house pre-dates this by a few years indicating a very late 16th century or early 17th century property. It is now a Grade II listed building with a number of key listed features. The estate itself also included Hatfield Forest.

It was Jacob Houblon that created the current lake to be found in the centre of the forest some time around 1740. All guest rooms are fully ensuite and have tea/coffee facilties TV (Hairdryer and alarm clock available on request). A continental breakfast is served at anytime and we can recommend lunch/evening meals at the Three Horshoes pub or the George pub across the road to Bonningtons.

Please note parking is charged at GBP 4 per day not including the night of stay but every day thereafter including the day of return. Places nearby to visit include The Toy Museum and Hatfield Forest.
