The coastline of Spittal and the Tweed estuary is designated as an area of outstanding beauty. Feeling active? Cycle the 'Coast and Castles' route, we are on the National Cycle Route, or take a more leisurely stroll along our splendid coastal walks. Explore the stunning Elizabethan walls of Berwick - dating back to 1558, Berwick walls are the best preserved walled defences in Europe

In the warmer months breakfast is served in the west facing conservatory overlooking the garden.Enjoy locally sourced produce whilst watching the aviary birds. Also enjoy the antics of the 2 house cats who consider the aviary to be their own personal climbing frame ( obviously stuffed with birds for their own enjoyment!!) The cottage garden is also home to many wild birds - cats permitting and the ubiquitous seagulls.During the Winter months breakfast is served in the Dining Room.
