Nestling The South Downs, this Rstaurant With Rooms is a former 1765 Coaching Inn that combines excellent cuisine (2 AA rosettes), award-winning wine lists (over 600 labels) and superior rooms (AA 4 red diamonds).
Relax in front of the open fires, have a massage (on availability), or walk/cycle the beautiful countryside, in any direction, straight from our front door.
Dine in the restaurant (with piano on Saturday nights), or the bar enjoying local, organic and seasonal specialities including partridge, lobster, rabbit and seabass.
Then relax in your 'wine' or 'champagne' room.
All rooms have firm super-king sized beds, large bathrobes, CD facilities, five-channel TVs, wooden floors with rugs, and the deluxe continental breakfast hamper delivered to your room.
Five rooms have power showers, three have baths and most are situated in a flint-walled private garden.
The 'champagne' rooms additionaly have a flat wide-screen TV, DVD, video, fridge and sofa.
