Alabaster effigy of Lady Margaret Russell, mother of Lady Anne Clifford. Lady Clifford and her mother were extremely close, and Lady Clifford erected a memorial column near Eamont Bridge to mark the site of her final parting from her mother. This so-called Countess Pillar can be visited today.
