Previously known as The Commercial and the Galloway Arms the Pheasant Hotel now offers excellent accomodation for visitors to the Dalbeattie area looking for a practical and comfortable base from which to explore the local area.Recently refurbished, we have eight rooms in total, comprising three rooms with a double bed and a single bed, a single bedroom, a double bedroom, two further twin-bedded rooms, and a family room consisting of one double bed, a two bed bunk, and a setee that opens up to a double bed. All rooms are en suite, seven of the rooms have bath and shower and one of the twin bedded room has a shower

Directions:
From the South:Take M6 past Carlisle untill it ends and becomes A74. Just before this road becomes A74(M) at Gretna vere left on to A75 signposted Stranraer and Solway Coast.Follow A75 towards Dumfries and follow Ring Road round Dumfries. At final roundabout take ist left marked A711 Dalbeattie.On entering Dalbeattie town centre the Hotel sits prominately on the left hand side displaying a large Pheasant on the side of the building.From the North:Take A74(M) untill Jubction 15 and take A 701 to Dumfries.
