Byard Art
Byard Art
Byard Art is one of the premier galleries in Cambridge, with a mix of work by 200 artists in a range of 2 and 3D disciplines. The gallery was established in 1993 - but in Nottingham, not Cambridge. The gallery opened in Byard Lane, Nottingham, which explains the name.

Byard Art moved to St Mary's Passage, Cambridge in 1998 and created a permanent gallery space for original art. The gallery moved to larger quarters on King's Parade in 2009, directly across from King's College.

In addition to permanent art displays, the Byard hosts a regular exhibition programme and exhibits at major art fairs.

Regular artists with permanent displays at Byard include Marianne Anderson, Evi Antonio, David Anthony Hall, Kim Bramley, and many more. The art collections are varied and eclectic, with media including ceramics, prints, glass, sculpture, jewellery, textiles, mixed media, photography, and painting.

The Byard holds regularly changing temporary exhibitions, including work by emerging artists.
