A very clean and cosy property with comfortable beds and luxurious bedding. The location was perfect for exploring the dales and the three peaks walk. The footpath along the edge of the river is good for short or long walks for all ages, with interesting wildlife to see.

This cottage is very clean and cosy with all facilities needed to have both an active or relaxing stay in the yorkshire dales. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. It is located next to the river Ribble and ducks come and perch on the garden wall. A good Dales bus service enabled grandparents to go off independently to Skipton market and ingleton and other towns while we went walking across the dales with our 10 year old. It is a short walk into the centre of settle where many high quality real ales and food is served in friendly pubs. Horton in Ribblesdale is only 6 miles away making this a great base for the three peaks challenge. We also visited Malham cove and Goredale Scar. There is a small swimming pool across the road from the cottage which has a comfortable water temperature and has a ?1 swim in the week in term time which was fantastic value and a lovely way to relax your muscles after a big walk. We felt rejuvenated after this holiday and found the whole area of the yorkshire dales charming and friendly.

Smashing place for a stay in Settle. Nice and cosy, overlooking the river. Easy access into Settle or Giggleswick, both within a 10 minute walk.

The position in the town was great, with easy walking and plenty of room for 4 women. The beds were extremely comfortable, with lovely linen. The lounge & dining rooms were very comfortable and the open fire was very cosy.
