This wonderful barn conversion is situated on the edge of the Lake District National Park and sleeps two people.

Pip's Hideaway is a superb cottage, on a working farm in the hamlet of Selside, 5 miles from Kendal. This cottage sleeps two people in one ground floor king-size double bedroom. The cottage also has a ground floor bathroom and a first floor open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. Outside there is ample off road parking, a front lawned garden and a rear, private decked area with furniture. Pip's Hideaway is an ideal romantic retreat, close to the stunning Lake District National Park.

Great place to stay, shame about exit and the entry!
Pips Hideaway is a very pleasant place to stay indeed. The accommodation was spacious and very modern, comfortable and warm. The only downside to staying there is the single track roads one has to travel down to get in and out of the farm! On the farm they always give way and are dab hands at reversing and are extremely courteous in doing so. However once out of the farm and making the 2 mile journey along these single track roads to the main roads, when you come across other cars coming the other way, as we did, 5 times in one journey; the other cars stay rooted to the spot and it is you who have to reverse someway to find the last placing place not always easy when you don?t know the road and have a seat belt fastened and absolutely treacherous in the dark! For that reason and that reason only, I would not go back to Pips Hideaway for another holiday.

Amazing stay, peaceful and relaxing!
What a fantastic property, decorated and finished to a high standard. The location was perfect for us, quiet with beautiful scenery. The attention to detail was great, along with the little extras such as a newspaper, flowers, a pint of milk and Kendal mint cake on arrival. The jacuzzi bath was heavenly and the garden was a little sun trap.

It was very restful, we had an easy stay, low stress. We loved looking out the windows and watching the sheep.

We've stayed here 3 times now so it would be a fair comment to say would definitely recommend to friends and family. The views are lovely, the cottage excels in all areas including decor & cleanliness. Everything you want and more. See you again soon Pips hideaway. Thankyou.

The cottage is excellent and provided everything we could possibly want. It is situated on a farm in beautiful countryside. The owners have made this a perfect place to relax and unwind, and the cottage is very aptly named "Pip's Hideaway."
