Friends visit
I was pleased to see that Emily and Jonny have kept up the lovely service and facilities they had on my last visit five years ago. There is everything you need in the cottage from wood burner to microwave. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and beautifully equipped. Cannot believe our week is almost over. We will return and hopefully not leave it so long in between visits.

Beautiful cottage in a peaceful location
I knew within hours of arrival that I wouldn't want to leave. The stylish cottage in a peaceful setting is so relaxing I felt rejuvenated. Beautifully designed and furnished to the highest standard this is one of the nicest cottages I have stayed in. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners and It is all beautifully kept. An excellent area for visiting North Yorkshire and the lakes.A walkers paradise but plenty to do for the less active. The only possible downside for some would be a privacy issue as there is a public footpath to the front of the property (rarely used) and the patio furniture for the adjoining property is right outside the kitchen window. A small niggle for an otherwise perfect property.

Wonderful Cottage
We stayed at Cowslip Cottage for a week and could not fault any aspect of it. The cottage was spacious and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was very well equipped and there were lovely little touches such as quality toiletries in the bathrooms. The location was idyllic with fabulous views. We would not hesitate in returning or recommending the cottage to friends.

Cowslip cottage is a superb property to base a holiday in this area of Yorkshire. This was my first visit to the area so I wanted the property to be of a very high standard. The cottage is within easy reach of many of the tourist sights of Yorkshire as well as being on the doorstep to South Lake District. We were able to visit a different place or area of interest each day of our week. I would thoroughly recommend this property and area of Yorkshire to friends and family.

This property is situated in a beautiful location and the standard of the property is outstanding. It is by far the best property in the U.K. that we have ever stayed in. The owners were very friendly, relaxed and helpful. The location is perfect for walking/cycling, near to lovely towns and also fantastic for staying in.
