Just perfect for our family get-together
Great location - very quiet and perfect for going for walks. Ample space for parking at the rear of premises. Garden with closing gate which is safe for small children. The house itself is very spacious with plenty of comfortable seating and there is a light and airy conservatory to enjoy during the day. Everyone in our group said that the beds were really comfortable and we were pleased that there was hot water available all day for washing and showering. The house is very well equipped with a considerable inventory for day to day living. The owner is very friendly and accommodating and did his best to ensure our stay ran smoothly. A welcome pack of essentials (tea, coffee, dishwasher tabs etc) was provided and was greatly appreciated on our arrival. He also maintained the hot tub daily to make sure it was clean and ready for us to enjoy. Overall we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Absoloutely PERFECT!!!! in every way.
What a wonderful holiday we had at this beautiful holiday home. We wanted for nothing and were very impressed with the size of the house, it was immaculate and the hospitality of the owners was great, they couldnt do enough for us. We most definitely are going to return to Hookstone House and would highly recommend it to family and friends. Cant wait for our next stay...The hot tub was a lovely touch as was the welocome pack. A big thankyou to the owners from all the family.

A beautiful cottage kept in excellent order. The beds were very comfortable and everywhere was cleaned to a high standard. The general feel of the cottage was very pleasant.

Excellent for a family holiday. Beautifully kept and very friendly owners.
Mrs Mann

The cottage was extremely comfortable, homely and well appointed. The facilities were excellent with plenty of space in the kitchen and living rooms. The bedrooms were comfortable, in fact the bed I slept in was the most comfortable "away" bed I have used for a very long time. All of our group enjoyed the hot tub - sometimes three times a day. The area was really peaceful and interesting, close to lots of attractions and we all found the break very relaxing.
