Simply stunning
Beautifully located on a private road, with a river running parallel (literally the other side of the road); this stone built cottage really is something special. The accomodation is clean and spacious, with an open fire, lounge, dining room, games room (essentially an integral garage housing table tennis); downstairs and upstairs w.c and shower, kitchen, and four bedrooms (2 X 1 double bed; 2 X 2 single beds). The furniture and daily essentials (crockery, utensils, etc.) are all perfectly fine (as opposed to someone's chipped seconds). There's also a small covered courtyard which leads to a lovely indoor pool, which feels luxurious, but tastefully so as opposed to ostentatious. The owners are friendly and welcoming, as are nearby residents, and it's a great place for wildlife, having already seen kingfishers and owls, as well as fish in the river. Simply wonderful!

Fabulous Cottage
We have just come back from Beaters Cottage. It really is lovely with everything you need. The swimming pool is fantastic. We used it every day (sometimes twice). It is only shared with one more cottage so there is plenty of room and it's excellent on a rainy day. It is actually adjoining this cottage so very convenient. The cottage is lovely and spacious and kept really clean. We felt very at home. We also made use of the tennis court and table tennis table. We sat outside the front every evening to take in the view of the river opposite. The owners are very welcoming (but not intrusive) and helpful. We are thinking of returning in the next year.
