Corris Railway Museum

The Corris railway was one of Wale's busiest narrow guage (2' 3") lines, carrying the product of this small village's slate quarry to Machynlleth. The railway closed in 1948, but it has now reopened to passengers (details at the website). The history of the line lives on in the museum, chock-full of memorabilia, including old photos.
