Lovely owners and great location but barn needs some attention
Nice peaceful location and great for exploring both the North and South coast. Huge garden, some great wildlife and was lovely to be so close to the owners farm animals. The owner was lovely and very helpful but we thought the barn itself needed some attention, especially regarding the cleanliness. Which was a shame.
The barn was a little grubby around the edges, cob webs, dead flies etc. Just in need of a deep clean in my opinion. The hot tub was abit dirty to, which put us off using it. There was sand on the bottom and hair on the surface of the water, which was a little gross, to say the least! Places we have stayed previously have always changed the water on the change over days, this clearly isn't the case at this barn.
Nice log burner and big TV in the living room. Very peaceful at night, which was lovely.
