Ideally and centrally located we are seconds from the beach, which you can access out of our side gate and adjacent to the tiny 18th Century harbour (the only one on England's East coast to face Westwards). Harry Potter?s Hogwarts School at Alnwick Castle and Alnwick Gardens are just 13 miles away, with Bamburgh Castle just 5

It is a 3 mile drive to the boat that sails to The Farne Islands, and if travelling further afield, Lindisfarne is 20 miles away, Berwick 25 and Newcastle 40. We are an ideal base for walkers and cyclists with a number of walking and cycling routes including the Coastal Cycle Route all nearby.
