People's History Museum
Ever wondered about the real, everyday people who make up our history? The People's Museum is the place to go for the answers; it explores the lives and legacy of the working people of Britain over the last 200 years, from the sweatshops and rebellions to leisure time.

The Museum follows the struggle of British workers, reformers, citizens, and voters through the centuries as they fought to gain a democratic voice for the working classes.

Discover not only how workers gained the right to more time off, but how they spent that leisure time. There is a special gallery related to Time Off and a changing programme of exhibits throughout the year.

The museum is open daily, including bank holidays, and is free to enter, though donations are welcome.
