Escape to the country! Relax in this warm and comfortable, spacious detached cottage. Located in a tiny, quiet rural village, in the heart of the Lincolnshire countryside. It is only a 6 mile (easy drive) to the lovely Roman city of Lincoln.
The cottage has a clean, modern interior and is set in a private, enclosed 'wrap around' garden. 3 bedrooms:(1 ground floor twin) Master Bedroom with comfortable king size bed. 2 twin bedrooms all with wardrobes & drawers.
Bathrooms: Family bathroom with bath, basin and WC. Ground floor, large Shower/Wet room with power shower. Ground floor Cloakroom with WC.
Wide doorways allow wheelchair access on ground floor level. The triple aspect sitting room has comfortable leather furniture.Large flat screen TV & dvd and a Log burner, great for cosy evenings in! French windows open into the garden.
The dining kitchen is very well equiped and has a full range of modern, integrated appliances; including dishwasher and eye level oven.Breakfast bar and dining table for 6. Many home from home extras are provided, including Free view Tv's, Hi Fi, rural WiFi, books, games etc.
are available for you to enjoy. The garden has lighting, furniture and barbecue. Ample parking on private driveway.
Welcome tea tray, Cotton bed linen,towels, tea towels are provided. Heating, electricity and many household basics included. Historic Lincoln, is a beautiful city with lots to do.
There is a fantastic Gothic Cathedral, Medieval Castle with Magna Carta and Victorian prison! Cobbled Streets, River waterfront, Museums, Art Galleries, Theatre, Independent Shops and Restaurants and of course, the famous Christmas Market.The unique Steep Hill, Lincoln was voted Britian's best street. Lincolnshire is great for antique hunting! With Horncastle, Hemswell, Lincoln & Newark showgrounds nearby.
Many historic houses and gardens to visit too! The Lincolnshire Wolds has lovely scenery. The Lincolnshire Coast has miles of unspoiled, blue flag beaches & seaside resorts and is less than an hours drive away. See the amazing sight of 100's of seal pups in winter! Lincolnshire has a famous Aviation history with many airfields and memorials to visit, including the BBMF Museum at RAF Conningsby- home to Britain's only airworthy Lancaster.
Lots of local footpaths and bridleways (walk,cycle,or bring your horse!) Enjoy the owner's 30 acres of private woodland and wildflower meadow nearby. Up to 2 friendly, very well behaved, small/ medium size dogs are welcome (charge of ?20). Please note that dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms and cannot be left alone in the cottage.
