This is a charming, semi-detached barn conversion that has been thoughtfully converted and sleeps up to four people.

This delightful, semi-detached barn conversion enjoys far reaching views across the glorious Peak District countryside. It is full of character and charm with comfortable accommodation throughout. The modern fitted kitchen has a real farmhouse feel to it and contains a spacious dining area, whilst the lounge is a very cosy space with an electric wood burner effect stove adding a very snug atmosphere to the room. There are two peaceful bedrooms, a double and a twin room and a spacious shower room. Outside the pleasant south facing lawn has a barbecue and furniture so visitors can sit and enjoy the fabulous views. With so much to do all year round in this area, the property makes a marvellous base from which to see this fantastic location.

The cottage location was wonderful with countryside all around and very convenient for Buxton and other little villages. Friendly neighbours and good parking for a small car. Very cosy cottage, which was very quiet and peaceful. Plenty of countryside to explore and shops only a short drive away. Overall a lovely cottage and location.

A quiet relaxing time away for Christmas. The cottage was warm and welcoming. We appreciated the effort that the owners had made in putting Christmas decorations up for us

The cottage was a very comfortable, cosy base to explore the area. We have been to several different cottages in the past and Rose Barn was one of the best we have stayed in.

The Barn was situated perfectly for me and my partner and the views were lovely, for our first visit and rental of this kind we were over the moon. Brilliant little cottage I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Cottage and Location
Arrived for a four night stay after a very heavy snowfall. However, owners had cleared entrance to drive and cottage. Lovely local walks, so driving is not really necessary. Castleton, Wynatts Pass, Snake Pass, Goyt Valley, Derwent Dams, Chatsworth House must be a high priority for you to visit, and are a short drive away. Temperatures were -5 overnight, but the cottage was always extremely cosy and warm. Windows can still be opened for fresh air with our effecting the cottage temperatures. All home comforts well maintained, DVD films and books also left for visitors to use. The cottage is so well maintained and immaculate inside. Fresh bed linen, towels available to. The beds were very comfortable, with extra bedding should You be cold...I really do doubt this though! After a long day walking in sub zero temps, the lovely hot shower was most welcoming, even allowing you to warm your towels up on the heated towel rack. Lovely secluded garden with amazing views over the peaks. Overall, this cottage is an all year luxury accommodation. I will most certainly return no matter what season. Do not miss an opportunity to stay here! I will be back soon.
