This cosy single storey cottage in Bowsden near Lowick offers bright, sunny rooms and sleeps up to four people.

Set in sleepy Bowsden, 3 miles from Lowick in rural Northumberland, this single storey cottage is semi detached and has been modernised with care and attention to details to provide a terrific holiday home for a family, couple or group of friends to enjoy. There are two bedrooms, a double and a twin, and a fitted kitchen plus a separate dining room. The sitting room has another dining area, great for an informal supper, as well as an open fire for those chillier evenings. There is a small lawned garden and a patio outside the cottage, a great spot for a cup of tea or evening drink. Beaches, castles, gardens and wide open spaces are all very easily reached from this lovely cottage.

Lovely, peaceful cottage in quiet, rural location.
Cottage was clean, well equipped & very cosy with an open log fire which was great in the evenings after long days out. Location was excellent for reaching all the areas we wanted to visit. Definitely to be recommended

Superb Cosy Cottage
We are currently enjoying a lovely week in this cosy cottage. We are a family with two young children. The cottage is perfect. Not too large but that does not bother us. The facilities are all on one floor. You enter down a small step into the foyer. Off this is the kitchen and living room. A corridor leads off from the other side of the living room which leads to the two bedrooms and family bathroom. The cottage is well appointed with everything that you could need on a holiday. The bookshelf is full of useful books and guides. The open fire is mesmerizing on an evening but is in addition to the efficient central heating. The cottage has WIFI which we find is essential with two young children. The bathroom has a powerful shower with plenty of hot water. The cottage is in a small quiet village with no facilities but again we did not find this a negative point, we enjoyed the tranquility. There are shops and pubs only a short drive away. We found the cottage to be an excellent stepping off point for many of the big tourists attractions in the area. In summary, I would certainly book this property again.
