70th birthday family get together
lovely treat, large well equipped Kitchen and walk in larder. open fire in lounge plus wood/coal burner in living room, very cosy and warm. ample parking, and dog friendly. location and views brilliant. only fault would be the time it took the bath to fill not very good when 7 persons staying(soak in the bath after climbing the hill behind rather than a shower)

A Little Piece of Heaven
Lovely old property with lots of charm. We really enjoyed our stay, beautiful garden to sit out in and enjoy the sun and safe enclosed garden for the dogs to run around in. NB the garden is on an incline with some steep steps (not a complaint just a consideration if you have small children). We brought food with us for the first night as there isn't a shop in the near by village. There are 2 pubs and a cafe serving food. Mobile phone and WiFi was good and the beds are very comfortable. Apart from the lambs and swallows (again not a complaint) it was oh so peaceful and a very relaxing time was had by all.

A very lovely cottage and location. The full enclosed garden for our dogs was a big bonus.

Greengates farm was a lovely place to be; cosy and with a great big table for which to play games. I would particularly like to say how very helpful the house keeper was.
