Absolute First Class Property
When we arrived our Sat Nav had dropped us off on the main road so had a bit of trouble finding it, the sign of Priory View wasn?t showing either when we did arrive as it was covered with over- hanging bushes. Anyway finally found it and then the entrance code number wouldn?t work! The two contact phone numbers we rang wouldn?t answer so luckily we rang Sykes Cottages who got the owner to come round. Not good in the pouring rain (to get a signal) although we do understand these things happen we were pretty miserable lol. Anyway after the dodgy start we found the property to be just wonderful, was worth the wait to get in. Beautiful place, very, very tasteful with wonderful views. It is more or less nestled on a country estate, a few years ago there used to be a racehorse trainer practically next door so you can imagine the landscape which is still maintained as it was then. The property itself has everything you need, just drop your cases and away you go. My grandson loved it (ideal to play hide and seek in he said). There is a lovely walk down to the beach through the woods, you can also visit Conishead Priory on the way, a visit to this temple is highly recommended. They even allow dogs in the cafe, or you could just sit outside in the lovely gardens with a coffee. Having our grandson with us (6) we didn?t visit many of the lovely surrounding towns we visited places such as Ford Park (worth a visit to the top of the monument!) we visited South Lakes zoo, Lakeland Maize Farm, Dalton Leisure centre for the swimming, places like that. All recommended. A visit to The Laurel & Hardy Museum in Ulverston wonderful, grandson loved their films found them hilarious (ideal if the weather not the best too). All in all we had a lovely stay, the beautiful sunrises from the main bedroom windows will stay with us for a very long time. Perfect property.

Holiday in paradise
Arrived last week not knowing what to expect and found a diamond! Well appointed, clean and comfortable home with views to die for! The owners had thought of everything even down to a carton of milk in the fridge to go with the tea bags! All we needed was our luggage, a tranquil setting next to Conishead Priory with some lovely walks, no passing traffic the silence was quite surreal. We were blessed with lovely weather which added to the holiday , waking up each morning to a lovely sunrise! I cannot praise this lovely house enough and we are already looking to returning next year.
