Devon Self Catering cottage, Virvale Barn, Combe Martin, sleeps 4

Virvale Barn is in a very tranquil position surrounded by working farms with no passing traffic. Very friendly owner who was not intrusive. The sitting area was at first floor area with good views. Generally a good retreat from the hurly burly but near to seaside and local attractions.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at Virvale Barn and would strongly recommend it to others. The location is totally tranquil with fantastic views. Extremely well appointed and spacious accommodation with lots of period features and very comfortable beds.

Can't fault this property; the location and the barn were both fantastic. The standard of accommodation was excellent and the hosts were great, very helpful. We will certainly be returning next year.

The barn is a lovely conversion, done to a high standard and is perfect for families and couples looking for a quiet romantic break. The owners are lovely and really helpful. The barn is close enough to the larger towns of Llfracombe etc. and there's plenty of things to do in the surrounding area. Overall, a great holiday and we're likely to come back next year.
