This superb stately home near Belford sleeps up to twenty four people in ten bedrooms.

The Hall is a very special property, set in stunning grounds near Belford in Northumberland. With ten bedrooms, most with en-suites, a selection of sumptuous sitting areas with open fires, a formal dining room complemented by two kitchens, a games room and elegant orangery, this is a superb base for all the family to get together for that special occasion. Outside, The Hall offers ample off road parking, along with a terrace with furniture and BBQ, and use of the grounds with lawns, woodland and lakes. A wonderful memorable retreat.

The Hall was fantastic with magnificent rooms and everything else you could wish for. The gardens were beautiful and well kept. All of our party were impressed with the property and would certainly come back. For such a big house it was exceptionally warm inside at all times.

We absolutely loved The Hall - it is huge and spacious and decorated to a generous standard. The bedrooms are particularly gorgeous. We were a party of 19 - 10 adults and 9 children aged from 9 years to 7 months but there was so much space and so many sitting (and playing) areas we did not feel crowded at all. We will come back!

In a beautiful situation with lots to do. The house itself is such a pleasant environment to be in - even for 20+ guests over several days - that it was just as nice to be indoors on a rainy day. I really can't think of a single criticism, everything was as close to perfect as you could reasonably expect. Really appreciated the cleanliness & the well-equipped kitchen. The garden & surrounding walks were stunning. Loved the furnishings, especially the largest bedrooms and large living room! We hope to return before too long.

We stayed at the Middleton Hall Boathouse for our honeymoon and it was just absolutely perfect. Beyond glorious. We enjoyed the complimentary afternoon tea and bottle of Prosecco provided by the hosts. Brian and June were very helpful and hospitable. The grounds are beautiful and secluded. Our friendly woodland neighbours were a complete delight to wake up to each morning. It was lovely to have a morning coffee on the balcony watching the Heron catching his breakfast in the lake. Although we drove, we made the most of the week and had a good 20 minute walk into Belford village (there is a co-op, charity/community shop, interiors shop, newsagents and a lovely little caf? as well as a couple of pubs. There is a nearby farm shop too). The buses run every 1 -2 hours and last one of the day can be between 4- 5pm! So best to look up the times/services first, also they can be quite pricey (a one way ticket for me and my husband to Alnwick cost ?12). Alnwick by bus is approx. 20 minutes. A brilliant day out especially if you make the most of it and visit the castle and gardens. Bamburgh is approx. 10 minutes by bus - the castle is worth a visit as is the wonderful beach surrounding the castle. We will definitely be going back to recharge our batteries.

A great time had by all. A stunning property and surroundings.
