This end-terrace cottage situated on the owners' non-working farm near Hallsands can sleep up to five people in three bedrooms.

Wisteria Cottage is a fabulous, end-terrace farmhouse cottage surrounded by countryside. There is a king-size double room, a twin room and a single bedroom, with a shower room on the ground and first floors. There is a kitchen with a dining area, a dining room opening into a conservatory with sea views, and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside, the landing leads to the garden where you will find a private seating area boasting sea views, and direct access to public bridleway leading down to the coast. Wisteria Cottage is a wonderful base for families and groups of friends exploring the South Hams and Devon’s coastline, all year round.

This was a wonderful venue in a great location; so quiet and peaceful. It was a lovely cottage, very clean and comfortable with everything you need for a great holiday. We thoroughly recommend this property. We look forward to a return visit sometime in the not to distant future.

This is an absolutely lovely holiday cottage, spacious, spotlessly clean and cosy and very very comfortable. Also in comparison to where we used to go in Cornwall, very reasonably priced at this time of year. Even in winter, low season, with some good lashing storms and very high winds, I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hideaway, peaceful holiday home. The owners had obviously put a lot of thought into their guests comfort and ease by supplying lots of little essentials e.g. tinfoil, clingfilm, doggy bags, dog bowl, matches, kindling and firewood for the first night, (also further firewood available on site for a modest fee) toilet rolls, air freshener and bathroom cleaner etc - pity I hadn't realised before we got there and had Waitrose deliver a load of similar items, but hey ho! we live and learn! Going on holiday at this time of year (our doggy holiday by the sea - an annual event), of course means we always take our wellies and expect the worst type of weather. There's a steep, very muddy track down to the little cove approx 1/2 mile each way which was an ideal spot for the mutt to get her daily swim, bit of a treck back up the hill though. Whilst there, we visited the Cricketer at Beesands, which provided us with a really warm welcome and a sublime cooked meal - highly recommend a visit if you're down that way. Whilst I cannot fault the cottage in any way, shape, or form (it really was beautiful and peaceful), sadly.....for us never having been to this part of Devon before, the roads were a real trial and source of stress. For this reason and I emphisise - this reason alone, we will not be going back to this wonderful holiday home...I do say this with more than a tinge of regret, since otherwise I could not fault the place in any way.

We could totally chill out. It had beautiful views, was peaceful and quiet, and in proximity to several dog friendly beaches.

A very comfortable cottage in a fantastic location. Great coastline, great local pubs and the whole area (including shops, pubs and restaurants) was very dog friendly.
Mrs Day

A cosy cottage in a lovely location, ideal for walking and exploring this part of Devon. The kitchen was a good size and was well equipped. Generally the cottage was of a good standard and very comfortable.
