This fantastic, semi-detached barn conversion, set on the owner's working farm near Silsden, Yorkshire, sleeps ten people in five bedrooms.

Swallow Barn is a superb, stone-built barn conversion set on the owner's small working farm, two miles from Silsden in Yorkshire. With five bedrooms, three with en-suites, this cottage can sleep up to ten people. There's also a bathroom with a freestanding bath, a ground floor cloakroom and an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining and a sitting area with woodburner. Outside, there is ample off road parking plus a patio garden with furniture. Swallow Barn is a superb, stylish holiday cottage, perfect for larger groups of family and friends seeking a relaxed rural retreat.

Just returned home from a perfect weekend away at Swallow Barn. We were attending a family wedding in nearby Skipton so decided to book here instead of a hotel. There were 9 adults staying here and we cannot speak highly enough of the place. It was spotless on arrival and Sue the owner popped in to welcome us but then left us to our own devices all weekend, despite only living next door. The cottage itself is amazing, the photos really don't do it justice and the under floor heating just topped it off. The town of Silsden is a good half an hour walk away. It's all downhill so would recommend getting a taxi back home for the return journey. We ventured into Silsden on the Saturday afternoon and spent the day in the Robin Hood pub which was also a friendly and welcoming place. Five stars from us and we are already planning on going back next summer. Just perfect.

We enjoyed the warm comfortable and spacious accommodation, the view and the friendliness of the owners next door.

It was my husband's 50th birthday and we were looking for somewhere to stay with a group of 8 friends (5 couples). There are plenty of houses / cottages for 10+ people, but not all with the correct number of bedrooms that would allow 5 couples to be able to stay together. Swallow Barn has 5 double or twin bedrooms, 3 are en suite, so a perfect set up for our group. The pictures don't do the place justice. The house is huge, open plan downstairs, but still cosy and comfortable. There are plenty of seats for everyone and the kitchen has everything you could need. Plenty of crockery, cutlery and cups and glasses. There is a beautiful cooker and huge fridge to store enough food and drinks for 10 people. Everything in the cottage is finished beautifully, with a lovely stone floor downstairs and the under floor heating makes it very warm. The cottage is located in a farm, and although it is joined to the owners house, there were no intrusions, but the owner was around to show us what we needed to know in the cottage and to answer any questions if we had any. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area and if we find the need to travel with a large group again, I would definitely go back.

We loved the views from the windows and the general ambience of the place. The owner came and said hello and made us feel very welcome. Overall it was a lovely property.
