This first and second floor apartment is located above a convenience store in the village of Grange-over-Sands, and can sleep up to 10 people in five bedrooms.

Church view is a first and second floor apartment, set above a convenience store, in the village of Grange-over-Sands just two miles from Cartmel. The cottage sleeps up to 10 people and has three double bedrooms, one with an en-suite and one with a double sofa bed, plus two single bedrooms, and two bathrooms, one with a separate shower and Jacuzzi bath. Also in the apartment is a kitchen diner, a utility room and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside is off road parking for two cars, an enclosed patio with furniture and secure, lockable bike storage. Situated in the Lake District, Church View is a lovely family holiday home all year round.


Very spacious
There were seven adults and two young children in our party but there was loads of room for us to enjoy the property without feeling squeezed in. We had three cars and the property only provides two parking spaces so we had to pay ?30 to park one in the adjacent car park. However I had researched this before we went so it wasn't a nasty surprise The accommodation itself is very clean and contains all of the equipment you could need, including washer, drier, dishwasher and free sat tv. It even has a jacuzzi bath, which the kids loved. Grange over Sands is a lovely resort, providing easy access to the Lakes. We had some great days out including a visit to South Lakes Wildlife Park. We also had a cracking baker and butcher just up the road. I can honestly say this is a very good, well appointed property.

The apartment was spotless and well equipped, and all in our party were totally impressed. It is also very central to all the towns and villages in the area. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in and around Grange-over-Sands and it is such a beautiful place to visit.

We booked a family weekend away for 10 of us and this property was perfect. Wonderful decor, high spec kitchen, whirlpool bath, powerful showers and set over three floors. Great local amenities and only 20mins from Windermere. We all had a brilliant time and our only disappointment was missing out on booking this place for Christmas 2016!

Excellent accommodation in a good location with nice cafes, shops and restaurants locally. Took walks along the promenade. It was a very reasonable price.

Fantastic Christmas Break
We stayed in this rental for a week over the Christmas period. There were 10 of us from the same family with ages ranging from early twenties to mid eighties. Everyone in the party loved the house. The standard of accommodation was very high,everything was spotlessly clean. The house was very nicely furnished and cosy and the log burning stove was great. There were nice touches like the welcome pack with tea coffees, preserves and nice miniature toiletries in bathrooms. The rental is in a good location for exploring the Lake District and surrounding areas. The house was quiet and peaceful but all the town amenities were within a few minutes walk. The owner had decorated the house for Christmas which included 2 trees which was a lovely touch. We had an excellent Christmas despite the rain and would not hesitate to recommend this house.
