Roald Dahl Children's GalleryThe Roald Dahl Children's Gallery is located in the centre of Aylesbury, on a site shared with the Buckinghamshire County Museum. The gallery is more an experience than a museum - walking into the Discover Gallery on the ground floor is like walking into a giant pop-up book. Characters from Roald Dahl's immensely popular children's stories populate the gallery; children can go inside James' giant peach, explore odd inventions with Willie Wonka, or experience science through hands-on experiments. There are optical toys from the Victorian era, magic mirrors, a camera obscura, an Upside-Down Room, and more. Kids can dress up in Victorian clothes, crawl through a tunnel with Fantastic Mr. Fox, and play a giant pipe organ. The Roald Dahl Children's Gallery shares space with the Buckinghamshire County Museum, but separate admission prices apply. Roald
