Situated close to the mouth of the Coquet River, Warkworth is a medieval town dominated by its own castle.

Swallows Cottage is an old farm cottage, situated just 5 miles from Warkworth. With one bedroom and set in picturesque farmland, this cottage is an idyllic retreat for couples looking to spend some quality time together. The accommodation is substantial and welcoming with a large, grassy garden for alfresco dining in the summer months. Winter and autumn provide their own atmosphere and the cottage is fully central-heated. Served by stunning beaches and rolling countryside, Swallows Cottage offers the best of both worlds at any time of year.

Great welcome and a lovely cottage set in a rural, quiet area, ideally placed to visit places of interest.
Mrs Jean Neve, Wrexham, Wrecsam
July 2014

This was our third visit to Swallows Cottage, that in itself is a good pointer to how much we like the Cottage. The holiday was very satisfying in many ways, the quiet rural surroundings and the friendliness of the owners were important factors to our enjoyment of the cottage.
Mr John Powell, Llandudno Junction, Conwy
October 2014

A beautiful peaceful setting, friendly, helpful hosts and a good base for touring the area. There were lots of information leaflets and advice on local places of interest.
Mrs Wendy Gwatkin, Lincoln, Lincolnshire

The peaceful and homely location of the cottage was perfect for touring so many historical places and wonderful areas of beautiful scenery. Swallows Cottage was cosy and very clean with many little added extra touches to make us feel very welcome.
