The apartment was modern and very well furnished, and the gardens were idyllic. The owners were very welcoming. A perfect spot to tour Devon. We returned home refreshed and relaxed.

Gorgeous location, beautiful cottage with all the finishing touches, thoughtful & considerate hosts.
Ideal location, and an exceptionally beautiful place to stay - private, comfortable, and with all the little finishing touches that make a holiday or weekend away perfect. The grounds are just stunning, with incredible views of the gorgeous Devon countryside rolling away into the distance. It was so lovely to sit outside on the terrace eating the most delicious home-made scones, feeling as if you've stepped into another world, free of stress and traffic and all the strains of modern life. The hosts are incredibly thoughtful and considerate, going above and beyond to help out with everything, including picking me up from town when I couldn't get a taxi. The food is all home-made and locally sourced, from the crusty bread to the jam and those amazing scones! I've stayed here several times now, and I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be.

Previous Reviews are Spot On!
It?s a bit tough to find anything to add to the previous reviews as they were all absolutely right. This accommodation is lovely with everything you need and a wonderfully comfortable bed, great hosts who are there if you want them but also leave you in peace, fab location and overall pretty much top class. Couldn?t rate it high enough and hope to return in the future to enjoy the tranquility of the location. My thanks to Mike and Michelle

A very comfortable cottage on the ground floor with terrace and use of the grounds. In a relaxing quiet neighbourhood.

Excellent location, brilliant hosts - superb!
We had high hopes for this lodge and all were exceeded. Simply walking inside, you feel at home. There can be no negatives said of anything of this accommodation. The kitchen has absolutely everything you need, there is plenty of warmth both from heating and the fireplace and the grounds are lovely. We could have easily stayed longer and would recommend this as a stay. The Devon countryside is simply stunning and the location is ideally placed between things to see. The hosts are simply lovely people who made the stay exceptional. Thank you Mr & Mrs M!
