Not what it says on the tin
We rented this property for a week in June this year. We have rented with Sykes before so I thought we would be ok. It was a very disappointing holiday to say the least. The directions to the property were not that good, a bit misleading. The property in my opinion is not suitable for people with children under the age of 6 as there are steep stairs in property. To be able to go anywhere you need to drive a fair way, down the mountain track and the very narrow road leading up to the property. The property when we booked it said it slept 5 since we returned it has been changed to sleeps 3. The wi-fi only worked in the bedroom as the router was in the other cottage

The Stable was an excellent place to stay and was clean and cosy. The log fire gave it a typical cottage feel and the hot tub was fantastic. The setting was idyllic, and from every angle there was a different breathtaking view. The sound of the stream was relaxing and it was lovely to hear the birds sing and nothing else! The owner made us extremely welcome and we will definitely be revisiting.! Everybody was friendly and the trip to the waterfall was a breathtaking memory to last forever.

The setting of the property is really fantastic, the scenery and access to walks. The owner was friendly and accommodating but not in any way intrusive. The bed was extremely comfortable.
