This wonderful building is filled with unique features and offers high-standard self-catering accommodation for a party of up to six people.

This stone-built detached barn-conversion was once part of an 18th Century mill, set idyllically beside a babbling book. Just three miles from the little town of Llanfyllin, this property is well placed for a wide variety of local amenities. This lovely cottage boasts a number of wonderful original features and offers a large, well-equipped kitchen as well as a cosy first floor lounge with views over the garden and brook. The surrounding area offers a number of excellent walking opportunities as well as a variety of interesting birds and wildlife. Welshpool is within 20 minutes driving distance and offers a wealth of shops, eateries and other great activities, making this an ideally suited home-from-home.

Tranquil stream side setting
If you love being in the countryside with the sounds of nature all around, this is the place for you. We adored our stay at The Mill. Yes we were spoilt with a week of sunshine and warmth, but not only that, as soon as you're in the Mill you feel de-stressed and relaxed. The accommodation on three floors works well. The gardens were a delight, our children had great fun building dams in the stream, playing pooh sticks off the bridge and ball games in the large grounds. The cottage is surrounded by fields, with sheep bleating in the distance and Red Kites soaring over head. Although you enjoy the feeling of being remote, you're only a short drive to the village. Here you'll find a good Spar for day to day shopping, along with a butchers, chemist etc. 100% we are going to go back to The Mill and stay. The area has lots to explore, some of the scenery is just beautiful. We had an action packed week of mountain walks, riverside walks, quad biking, retail therapy in local towns and even a trip to the seaside (Barmouth).

The property was wonderful and set in a beautiful and tranquil location. The owner was there on arrival, doing some last minute gardening.. and wow, what a garden! The surrounding area & countryside are stunning, & at this time of year the young lambs are everywhere...even in the garden, as one lamb and it's Mother managed to sneak in each morning! A perfect, relaxing holiday in every way.

This cottage is a hidden gem. It's absolutely beautiful; totally private with outstanding views. It's fantastic for dogs as they can run around the huge outdoor area safely. The cottage was so cosy and warm and very clean. It was pure relaxation in an outstanding property in an idyllic setting. Truly loved this place.

The location was secluded and private, but not a million miles away from any civilisation! The surroundings were beautiful and the dog was free to roam around. The cottage was beautifully heated throughout, so nice to return into after a brisk early spring day's travelling. The owner was really helpful and welcoming.
