Full of original features and retaining its own, unique character, this former milking parlour has been beautifully refurbished to offer comfortable accommodation for two people.

This charming wing of a former milking parlour and hayloft is located in the Lune Valley, between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. With oak beams, one double bedroom, a charming spiral staircase and access via French windows to the private patio area, this property provides high-quality holiday accommodation on the edge of the unspoilt village of Hutton Roof, just three miles from Kirkby Lonsdale. The cottage is close to all local amenities and attractions that both the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales provide.

A Gem holiday cottage
Our second time staying here welcomed by consummate hosts Mike and Steve. Cottage set in beautiful natural grounds with great views lay out is upside down with sleeping and showers and bath on lower level this has underfloor heating The property is comfortable and fitted out to a high level with everything you could need including a stable WiFy It's location is perfect for access to The Norh Dales and the lakes. It's a hikers and walkers paradise and even right on the door step there are really good walks including Hutton Roof Crags. Wake up to the sound of peace and bird song I would give this cottage a 10 out 10. We loved it here wanted to stay longer
