Mr
This cottage was perfect for us. We received a warm welcome from the owners (and their dog!). We chose this cottage mainly because it is 'dog friendly' It is situated in a rural area so it is quiet and peaceful with a lovely garden to relax in. The owners live on site but we were left to enjoy our stay whilst they were readily available when we needed advice. Getting around the area was easy and we were able to visit a variety of places during our stay. Highly recommended.

Hill House is another star in Sykes Cottages catalogue. The atmosphere is tranquil and peaceful, the gardens are beautiful the summer house is a great place to while away a couple of hours. The purpose built cottage is well designed and beautifully decorated. The owners are very pleasant and helpful. In fact we couldn't find any faults at all. We and the dog could not have had a better time in spite of the weather, who noticed the rain (torrential)? Quiet, friendly and well off the beaten track; the only intrusive noises are the birds singing in the trees surrounding the cottage.

The dwelling was beautifully decorated to a really high standard throughout and felt like a real home from home. The private garden area with the pond and summerhouse were lovely and it was very peaceful sitting outside in the evenings and sunny afternoons. We will definitely be going again.
