Felbrigg Hall
Felbrigg, Norfolk
Fascinatingly diverse gardens surrounding a 17th century mansion. Victorian pleasure grounds with a Georgian orangery, many specimen trees, walled garden a superb woodland trails to enjoy. Also see the kitchen garden laid out around a pond.

Holkham Hall Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk
Superb parkland laid out by William Kent with later contributions by Capability Brown and Humphrey Repton. Rare trees and shrubs including holm oaks. Formal walled gardens near the house surround a fountain, but the formality son gives way to lovely wooded walks. Famous for bluebells in spring.
