Good Location but bungalow a bit tired
Our party consisted of 4 adults 2 kids and a dog. The house was very clean and had an amazing very large kitchen with washing machine, tumble dryer and dish washer. When we arrived the tea tray was laid out ready with some tbags, coffee sachets and 2 packets of biscuits with a pint of milk in the fridge which was a pleasant welcome. The bedrooms and living room were a good size but the dining room was in the conservatory on the front of the house which couldn't be used when the sun had been out as it was like being in a hot house. As it opened onto the front garden which wasn't enclosed you couldn't have the door open if you had a dog as the house is on a main road. Although the road is not excessively busy it is a straight fast road. The enclosed garden at the rear of the house was safe and secure for the kids and dog with a picnic bench so was good to have dinner outside. We had problems with locking and unlocking the front door and rear door to the garden. They were very stiff and sometimes the keys wouldn't turn in the locks. The rear door to the garden also had to be slammed to get it to shut and was cracked on the outside. I did ring and report this to the person whose number was at the house and he was very helpful and said the owner was aware of it. My husband and I stayed in the front bedroom near the front door and when we had rain the wall under one of the windows was damp and the windows were stiff to open and close. Could do with some new doors and windows. The shower room/toilet was clean and a good size and all towels were provided so we only had to take towels for the beach. The house is located in a good place to get around this part of Norfolk. In the village of Bacton you can hire a swimming pool for an hour on line at a local B&B which was great fun for the kids. It was quite small but perfect for the 6 of us and not expensive. Beaches in the area are sandy and really nice and there is a good pub overlooking the beach. We had a lovely stay with the family but the house could do with some repairs
