Dorset Self Catering cottage, Poppies, Brewers Quay Harbour, sleeps 4

We are just back from another trip to the UK basing ourselves again at Weymouth where we stayed at Poppies. Poppies is a beautifully presented little cottage, spotlessly clean and, it smelt wonderfully fresh and was very warm and cosy. The rooms were a good size, plenty of wardrobe space in the bedrooms, comfy beds and the kitchen was very well equipped (not that we actually ended up using the cooker/washing machine). The bathroom was a good size and had a separate shower, although not a ?power shower? but it did the job. Poppies is in a wonderful location, 30 seconds walk from some very popular restaurants, a local store for essentials and a short walk (2-5 mins) from Nothe Gardens where you can enjoy the view, squirrels and parkland. We used Weymouth as a base to do lots of things, Longleat Safari Park, Paignton, Dartmouth, Basingstoke for indoor skydiving, Bath, Bristol, Cheddar, Abbotsbury Swannery and Farm on this occasion. As a sailing family we usually stay closer to Weymouth and Portland eg Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Monkey Sanctury, Bovington Tank Museum, Portland Bill Lighthouse, Chesil Beach, Sealife Centre etc. There really is so much to do! We would definitely stay here at Poppies again when we're next in Weymouth!!
