Formerly built c1500 as a grain store and latterly with attached stabling for the working shire horses of the day it has been tastefully and carefully converted to provide all the modern day conveniences and comforts whilst still retaining many of the original stone and beam features.This central rural country retreat is set in a 15 acre part stream bordered estate surrounded by meadows amidst trees and hedgerows that Devon is so known for which in springtime are bedecked with wild primroses and violets.

The location of this hidden gem offers relaxing surroundings and walks "far from the madding crowds" and set midway between the wild expanses of Dartmoor and Exmoor and the rugged coastlines and sandy beaches of the north and south Devon coasts which makes it an ideal base to explore these along with all the other local popular attractions. Try your skills at fishing golf horse riding and even flying all of which are available locally and at the end of your day in the warmer months relax recharge your batteries and plan your next days adventures 'alfresco' style whilst enjoying views over the countryside views. Kitchen: french doors to main courtyard and stone archway which leads to a modern well-fitted and equipped kitchen with natural stone floor. Appliances include fridge (with small freezer box) electric cooker microwave washer/dryer hi-fi and many other extras. Outside: a stable door from the kitchen leads to a fenced rear private south-facing garden with built-in BBQ area seating and lighting.

Opposite the kitchen door is a gate leading directly onto tree bordered meadows. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen towels and electric included.
