We enjoyed the location of the cottage and the helpfulness of the owners.

We stayed during Easter week. The cottage was absolutely beautiful clean and well furnished and in easy access of all the beautiful beaches on Angelsey. The added bonus was the pass to Neworough beach which saved us a fortune in parking charges. Our only complaint was that the aga was not working efficiently and was only good enough to keep things warm even in the top oven. However there was enough alternative cooking facilities to use so it helped to keep the chill off the room if not good as a cooker.

This cottage is so comfortable and cosy, we found the location ideal to get to all the usual tourist spots. We loved the wood burner especially after a day walking in the mountains, the bedrooms are tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend the beach nearby, beautiful and clean we enjoyed walks through the forest and across the beach most days.

We arrived tired after a long journey to a warm, clean cottage with the Aga on which warmed the kitchen, there was central heating throughout including a warming log burner which we loved using in the evenings after our long walks. each room is tastefully decorated with laminated floors throughout giving the cottage a modern comfortable feel. There is a conservatory with dining room table and chairs with plenty of space we stored our coats and shoes in this area, there is a washing machine and tumble dryer if you need them, we didn't use them as we were on holiday and out each day. The lounge area is a fairly large space with a comfortable leather suite inducing a reclining leather chair and footstool with a very large screen TV. We on,y used the double bedded room as our sons did not travel with us in the end however each bedroom was very clean and comfortable with towels provided. We had an ensuite with a good shower and there was a bathroom with another shower too. I loved the kitchen it had everything we needed and was well equipped I loved using the Aga and we cooked a few meals on it, if you don't want to use this you can use the electric hob and convention oven. There is a fridge and a separate freezer and plenty of storage space with huge wine racks. There is a dishwasher too so only had to hand wash a few pots and pans. There is a staircase on the stairs so ideal for those with young children we found it useful preventing our doggy going up stairs, no dogs allowed upstairs but we don't mind this as we wouldn't like our dog on our bed at home anyway so this rule is reassuring that hygiene is a priority. There is a small enclosed garden and we parked our car each night at the top of the garden, it is a narrow gap but we fitted our large VW Estate through the gap so if you are a confident driver you will be fine. If not there is limited parking on the street or a car park round the corner. Across the road is the Codmother chippy which provides freshly cooked to order food, we loved the fish and chips the best we have had. Staff are friendly too. There is a small pub literally a few steps away and the staff and locals were very friendly. The owner Sue is just next door and she was very friendly and helpful. The gem of this cottage is definitely the location about a mile away is Newborough Forest with the most beautiful beach with clear signposted walks for different abilitys. You are able to walk your dog on the beach from September to May. You are also close to Snowdon, Llanberris, Conwy Castle, Beaumaris Castle and many more places of interest within short driving distance. There is also lots to see and do in Anglesey we went to the salt factory and enjoyed purchasing local produce from a nearby farm shop. We would highly recommend this property as we had a fantastic week away and would love to return as a base to continue exploring beautiful Wales.
