40 Ravensdowne is a delightful, Grade II listed town house set within the town walls of Berwick-upon-Tweed. With five bedrooms over four floors (one with 2' 6" twin beds), each with their own en-suite, this cottage sleeps ten people extremely comfortably. There's also a ground floor cloakroom, a kitchen, a dining room with patio doors opening to outside area plus a sitting room with gas fire. Outside, there is roadside parking with a permit provided for one car, additional car parking available in free car park five minutes' walk away, along with a small patio garden with furniture. 40 Ravensdowne is an impressive, character holiday home, set in a fantastic location, with wonderful amenities on the doorstep and the beach just a few minutes' walk away.

The cooking facilities are very good and we enjoyed every evening in the dining room having our meals. The washing machine and dryers were also very useful as we were completing the Northumberland coastal path and got very wet a couple of days.

Ravensdowne is an ideal holiday home for friends or family holiday get togethers. The fact all rooms were en suite was a huge bonus and the beds were very comfortable. The house was well furnished, warm and very well equipped. The location was ideal, very close to the town centre and the beach. We did a good deal of sightseeing around the local area.

The house was simply perfect! In a great location, a lovely town to go with the children, everything was clean, tidy and spacious. It was wonderfully decorated. The kitchen had anything you could think of and the dining area was so comfortable. We'll definitely go back and tell our friends. The owner was so helpful and kind. Thanks a lot for the lovely weekend!

The house was extremely spacious and it was an added bonus having en suite bedrooms. It was well eqipped and comfortable and the owner couldn't have been more helpful. Plenty to do and easy access to walks and the beach.

Cannot fault this rental, we loved it.
We loved everything about this house. It was a welcome home from home, well-equipped and cosy. Every bedroom was en suite, which was perfect for a group of women. The beds were very comfortable with lovely linen on them. The small garden was a real sun trap which we enjoyed. The location was fantastic, within walking distance of shops, and eating establishments. I would return in an instant.
