The Old Fire Station is a mid-terrace cottage in the village of Beaumaris just four miles from Menai Bridge. The cottage sleeps five people in three bedrooms, consisting of one low-level king-size double, one low-level double and one single, as well as a family shower room. Also in the cottage are a fitted kitchen with breakfast bar and a sitting room with dining area and woodburner. Outside is roadside parking. Situated on the Isle of Anglesey, The Old Fire Station is a lovely family base to explore this part of the country.

The Old Fire Station is very comfortable and situated in an excellent location.

We loved Anglesey, The Old Fire Station was in a good location, near to centre and sea-front. Comfortable and cosy, with ample room for us all. Nice restaurants in walking distance.
Miss Croston

We stayed here on a mid week break and thought the cottage fitted our needs perfectly. It is well equipped and attractively decorated. The cottage is located a short way away from the beach and only a short stroll into the centre of Beaumaris. We had two small children with us and didnt find the stairs or the road outside the front door particularly an issue as we had brought a stairgate with us. One negative was a lack of welcome book. We've stayed in many holiday cottages and always find these useful. Even if its just to find out where to put the recycling or how to operate the heating, its a nice touch. We only discovered the wifi password (or that they had wifi) after a few hours as it was on a post it note by the TV. Despite that, overall I would recommend a stay here.

This cottage is just lovely! Very comfortably and tastefully furnished. A very well equipped kitchen, which, despite its size contains a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, and washing machine. Lovely wood burner in the sitting room and plenty of space for 5 people. Front door opens straight onto the lane, so would perhaps not recommend for families with young children. Open tread staircase too - so again, if you have young children, perhaps not the best cottage to choose. We loved the cottage and would definitely be happy to stay here again. Beaumaris is lovely - we found a very good couple of restaurants and some lovely food shops within a 5 minute walk from the cottage. For dog owners, the shingle beach is just over the road, and there are woods to walk in within a two minute walk from the cottage (just off Mill Lane). The Manager of the property is fantastic - very friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful too.

The Old Fire Station is a little gem! We have never experienced a self catering cottage with such attention to detail and furnishings. It's extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated.
