This detached cottage is located in the village of Burton-in-Kendal and can sleep two people.

Stable Boys Cottage is a detached cottage in the village of Burton-in-Kendal, just seven miles from Kirkby Lonsdale. The cottage sleeps two people and has a ground floor super king-size double bedroom and a ground floor bathroom. Also in the cottage are a kitchen with dining area and a first floor, mezzanine sitting room. Outside is off road parking for one car and a balcony with furniture. Situated in Southern Lakeland, Stable Boys Cottage is a lovely romantic base from which to explore this delightful part of the country.

We loved the setting and being able to walk in the park. The peacocks and other birds added interest. The cottage I would describe as cosy and elegant. We loved the finishing touches like bottles of water at the side of the bed. The cottage is situated in a very convenient location in an area we know well and we revisited many of our favourite haunts and found new places to visit.
