Fantastic holiday
We visited for a week Friday 25th October... booked via Sykes who are always excellent. Everything was perfect regards the booking process and information re access and postcode followed after completed payment. The owner Gareth kindly advised he would light up the house as we were arriving late and the lane would be dark. Lovely welcome pack included, even dog food, bed and blankets. The rooms were well thought out, lots of hanging space, towels and really comfortable beds and the house was really warm. Lovely shower room. Large well equipped kitchen with wine cooler, dining table for 6. The sitting area was very comfortable and has a large TV (we took PS4 with us) wifi code available too. Lovely conservatory and small private garden although too cold to use them this time of year for us. Gareth recommended The Kings Arms which was just a 5 minute walk and well worth it, fabulous food, drinks and service...very friendly. We were well placed and lucky with the weather.. we visited Ingleton Falls, Morecambe Bay, Kendal and Carnforth. There is also a very pleasant Canal walk further up the road which isn't too strenuous 4.5miles but there are others which would take longer. All in all we had a lovely week and will consider a return and wouldn't hesitate recommending!

Great holiday home
Thoroughly recommended home where the owner goes that extra mile to make sure you have the best stay. Very comfy beds, great shower, well appointed kitchen - genuinely couldn?t fault it. Super welcome pack too. Decent village pub within walking distance and several others within a ten minute drive. Good base for exploring the Lakes.
